Historia
El primer equipo de Andy fue el de su Instituto (Bishop McDevitt) en Harrisburg, Pennsylvania donde jugó hasta el año 1996 que acabo los estudios. Ese mismo año empezó a jugar en el equipo de su Universidad, Lebanon Valley University, con la que jugó en la NCAA durante tres temporadas.
En 1999 fue seleccionado en la séptima ronda del Draft por Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs con el número 86. Ese mismo año fue a jugar la FILA Summer Ligue en los Angeles Lakers donde cobró su primer sueldo profesional de la NBA, la cantidad que cobro por su servicios fue de 5.000$.
En el 1999-2000 tuvo un breve paso por el New Mexico Slam, un equipo de la IBL, o International Basketball League.
Después de una larga temporada firmó un contrato en la NBA con Atlanta Hawks de solo 10 días de duración. El 14 de enero jugo su primero y único partido con los Atlanta Hawks. Este mismo año estuvo jugando a prueba con los Chicago Bulls en las ligas de verano y Rocky Mountain Summer League.
En el 2001 hizo su primer viaje para jugar en Europa donde fue a Italia a jugar con el equipo Pastificio Di Nola Napoli durante 18 partidos. Volvió a USA en 2002 para fichar por los Dakota Wizards de la CBA, donde estuvo 2 años.
Después de Italia su destino europeo fue España para jugar en Girona en la ACB con el equipo Casademont Girona substituyendo al lesionado Veljko Mrsic, todo ello tras acabar la CBA y un nuevo Summer Pro League , esta vez con los Knicks de Nueva York en el verano de 2003.
Estuvo en el Casademont hasta la temporada 2003-2004 cuando fue fichado por el Caja San Fernando para la temporada 2004-2005 gracias a sus buenas actuaciones en el Casademont Girona.
En el año 2005-2006 fue fichado por el Lagun aro Bilbao Basket. Al acabar esa misma temporada fue a probar suerte en el Paok Tesalónica de la liga HEBA, pero acabó volviendo a la liga LEB Oro española para liderar el ascenso a la ACB del BRUESA Basquet, donde juega actualmente y es uno de sus líderes indiscutibles.

PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL CAREER
- Listed in the top 100 candidates for the 1999-2000 NBA Draft.
- Invited to/played @ the 1999 Pre-Draft NBA Camps at Portsmouth and Chicago.
- Twice participated (July, 1999 & 2000) in the FILA Summer Pro Basketball League, playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
- Participated in the LA Lakers Veterans Team Camp 10/1/99 - 10/27/99 and 9/24/00 - 10/19/00, twice being the last non-guaranteed salaried player waived.
- Drafted by the New Mexico Slam (IBL), the Rockford Lightening (CBA), and the PA Valley Dogs (USBL).
- Named 1999/2000 NM Slam “Rookie of the Year”; 2000/2001 NM Slam “MVP”
- Led the NM Slam in ppg @ 20.3 (5th in the IBL) & FT % @ 83% (13th in the IBL), during the 2000/2001 season for 42 games played.
- Led the IBL in F.T. Attempts @ 353, converting 293, for an .830 mark, while averaging 34 minutes per game, during the 42 game 2000/2001 season.
